[Quote From Novel] [Christine in boat]

[bar]
[Christine doll]

Christine and Erik (the Phantom) in an elaborate boat scene!
The Phantom wears a tux, with a hat and heavily beaded cape, and holds the black rod that he guides the boat with.

Christine is wearing a lovely white dressing gown, and is seated on a mound of beautiful pillows made of antique velvet and gold trims, with a tiny gold tasle on each corner.

The boat was sculpted from paper clay over a plastic armiture and is about 40 inches in length. The dolls are 17 inches tall (standing) and are sculpted from Super Sculpey.

Hanging in front of the boat is a small lantern with a battery operated light that can actually be turned on for added effect!

This has been one of the most challenging projects I have done so far!
If you'd like to see pictures of some of the details that don't show up here, and read a bit more about the making of this scene, go to the CLOSEUP page!
